I don't think I've really looked forward to a birthday since I was ten. There's always so much that is just depressing about them that I really want to forget the whole day completely but I can't. I don't like leaving things behind and it feels like I am leaving a lot this year. But birthdays also are an opportunity to look forward and to set goals. Here's hoping this year will leave me with more gain than loss.

Anyway, I'm not trying to be a total wet blanket (whatever that means) at the moment, I'm trying to figure out the best way to make a new logo for my comic to be used on my website and any future merchandise. Logos and fonts are a weak spot for me.

Hello, everyone. Sorry for my lack of updating, but I really haven't felt motivated to submit much lately. Perhaps that will change. As scary as it sounds, I am finished with my undergraduate studies at SCAD. Though I'm taking a mini-break at the moment, I am still as dedicated as ever to my comic.

Can you believe my Web-comic ( [link] ) will be coming up on comic 50 this coming week? It wasn't all that long ago that it launched.

Sorry for my lack of responding to messages. I will get around to it before the week is over.

I was three comics away from reaching my summer goal of fifty. I'm still happy with the number of comics I did complete. At first, 50 seemed like an unobtainable goal. Mind you, they aren't colored, only penciled and inked, but I still feel accomplished. My original goal was in the 25 to 30 range.

And it finally seems as though this summer is drawing to a close as school starts back on Monday. And this quarter, I plan on completing even more comics for my senior project class.

I've been pretty secretive about this site for the past few weeks/months. With good reason. I don't want to advertise an empty pantry. Before I go out and tell it to the world about my site, I would like to have at least one "chapter" under my belt. But I think that you all have a right, as my friends and watchers to be able to follow the comic from the beginning. So keep in mind, it's pretty empty right now, but I will update on Mondays and Thursdays every week to the best of my ability.

By the way, the first chapter (meaning the first 13 pages or so) of this comic are indeed based off of the comic I made last summer with adjustments. So if you're saying "Hey! THIS LOOKS FAMILIAR!" or "Wait! THIS IS DIFFERENT!" then it probably is.

Ever have that feeling that you're to busy to do anything and you've accomplished nothing? Or that so much has happened, but everything has been uneventful?

I've been neglecting not only DA, but every message board and oekaki board I go on lately.

For anyone who is wondering when my webcomic will start updating, I hope to start updating July 21, the Monday after I get my two top wisdom teeth taken out. Honestly, I wanted to start this Monday, but I think it would be a better idea to start my updates after I get my wisdom teeth pulled, considering I don't know what the recovery time will be nor do I really know of WordPress/ComicPress will upload things on time. At any rate, this will give me a chance to make my comic buffer bigger than it already is.... Which is pretty big.
